Taikun Shochu is a traditional distilled Japanese Spirit, not to be confused with fermented Japanese sake. Taikun Shochu is made from the highest quality barley, with refreshing spring water from Yufu in the Oita region.
Taikun Shochu can be mixed in many creative ways and can be used with most other liqueurs. It is typically enjoyed straight, on the rocks, mixed with both hot and cold water, but can also be combined with a light tea or fruit juice. A beautiful nose of spring flowers, crisp with a hint of mineral and complex textures, a truly fascinating Japanese sprit for a cocktail aficionado.
