Made in world-famous Osaka by Naniwa Brewery, Isake Ginjo is polished down to 60% of its original state. It is recommended chilled or hitohadakan (37C – body temperature) and is a treat as either an aperitif or enjoyed with food. A clean aroma of stone fruit and fusel melon tempts the nose into the glass of this rather striking sake.
A very accomplished level of acidity brings an uplifting crispness of fresh lemon and bitter-sweet grapefruit. Delicate hints of candied roses, strawberries and warm youthful blossom linger beautifully in the finish, illustrated well by its transparent pink hue.
